CIVIC HOLIDAY ALL CANADIAN CHAMPIONSHIPS AT HUMBERSTONE SPEEDWAY PRESENTED BY MOLSON AND PETERS EXCAVATING
Tis the time of the season everyone at Pt. Colborne's Humberstone Speedway awaits, The Civic Holiday Molson All Canadian Championships. It's the Annual all day event that brings all of the Niagara Regions best race teams and fans alike. If you like extra distance races, time trials, partying, live bands, food, camping and much, much more, this is what you have waited for. August 1st Humberstone Speedway hosts the longest signature event in the Niagara Peninsula dating back to 1958. Humberstone will be the place for a huge 6 division program headlined by the Cosco Haulage Sportsman, Ontario Dirt Late Models, Brian's Tire Repair Street Stocks, Ron's Automotive Mini Stocks, Niagara Auto Sales Pro 4 Trucks and the Frontier Auto Dismantler Pure Stocks. Extra length features will be run as well as qualifying heats for all classes. This will all be set up by time trials for all classes except the O.D. Late Models.
The All Canadian Championships has taken a new life the last few years with camping the whole weekend. PR Director Fran Bushardt states: The whole weekend of camping at Humberstone has the legion of the racing fans gathered for Niagara's biggest racing weekend, Friday's racing at Ransomville or Ohsweken or Saturday and Monday at Merrittville is all centered around the All Canadian at Humberstone and it reunites many fans from all over. Bushardt also adds: The Camping is free as long as you have an adult paid admission as Humberstone is not a trailer camp, but a parking lot for the race fans that want the fun family camping and partying experience.
A Molson Beer tent will be assembled as well as a band stand for the Saturday night, Sunday afternoon and Sunday night post race fun. The Civic Holiday is co-sponsored by Peters Excavating. With Sunday's time trials taking place at 2:00PM and racing at 6:30 Sharp!!! It is one of the can't miss events for the true enthusiast of racing!!
