HUMBERSTONE SPEEDWAY IS READY FOR PRESEASON PRACTICE SESSIONS
Pt. Colborne Ontario's Humberstone Speedway has completed their twin preseason Mall shows. The management of Humberstone Speedway wish to thank all of the race teams, as well as the race fans who visited the Niagara Square and Seaway malls for their participation . Special thanks also goes out to The Tidyman Race Team for donating a pair of Youngsters Bikes and Justin Gaboury for the use of his race Simulator Many of the Speedway's racers are ready to hit the practice mode in preparation of Humberstone's 51st Season. Practice is scheduled for Sunday April 18th at 2:00PM as well as a 2nd session on April 25th at 2:00PM respectively. The practice sessions will be open to any and all classes including the 6 regular classes consisting of: The Frontier Auto Dismantlers Pure Stocks, Niagara Auto Sales Pro 4 Trucks, the Ron's Automotive Mini Stocks, Brian's Tire Repair Street Stocks, Cosco Haulage DIRT-CAR Sportsman and the headlining Young Automotive Professional DIRT-CAR 358 Modifieds. The Practice will also be open to Dirt Late Models, Sprint Cars, Mod Lites, as well as Vintage Racers and what ever shows up.
Humberstone's 51st Season Opener will take place on Sunday May 2nd as Toffolo Enterprises presents the Humberstone Speedway Weekly Series including: Mini Stocks, Pro 4 Trucks, Street Stocks and Sportsman, and the 358 Modifieds. The HSWS does not include the Pure Stocks or 358 Modifieds as they will compete 10 times each, they will alternate weeks. 6:30 PM will be the starting time for all racing events in 2010.
Practice sessions will be free for the race fans choosing to use the grandstands. A entry fee will be charged for the pit area and season passes will not be accepted for practice nights. The Speedway Office will be open for anyone choosing to purchase last minute season passes which will include all events.
Advance tickets are already available for the major event that will bring four of NASCAR's stars. Last years victor Dave Blaney and Kenny Schrader are confirmed already. The Stars Of NASCAR show is July 11th. These popular tickets will sell for $25.00 for Adults, $20.00 for Seniors and Students, Youngsters 6-12 will sell for $10.00 and 5 and under will be free. After July 1st, Adult tickets will sell for $35.00, Seniors and Students will sell for $30.00, 6-12 will go for $15.00 with 5 and under free.
