Ed Carley Motorsports and Humberstone Speedway Partner for BRP CanAm Event $1750 To Win on Sunday June 20…

Ed Carley Motorsports has partnered with Humberstone Speedway for what promises to be a block-buster BRP CanAm Late Model Series event on Sunday June 20. $1750 to win a BRP CanAm event will attract all of the Series tour event point chasers as well as a robust group of Series weekly event racers to the Niagara Peninsula.

“Humberstone Speedway is excited to have the BRP CanAm Late Models back for 2010. Our fans responded very positively when we put this June 20 event on the schedule. Now with the support of Ed Carley Motorsports making this a $1750 to win extravaganza they will be in for an even bigger event. I understand that this will be the highest paying event on the BRP CanAm schedule,” shared Bob Davidson, the Humberstone Speedway GM. “This is a great addition to our schedule for the 51st year of racing here at Humberstone.”

This announcement follows a sold out partner program between Ed Carley Motorsports and Humberstone Speedway. That program a two day classroom and on track Dirttec seminar and driving school on April 14 & 15 sold out before the formal announcement was even published. Ed Carley reports, “All of us were pleasantly surprised by the great response. I knew that the Dirttec seminar followed by an opportunity to apply what was learned in the classroom (actually race shop) on the track would be popular. I just did not know that the word would get around so fast and race team members would sign up and pay the deposit this fast. We never even got around to doing an advertising program. It was just word of mouth. The cooperation I received from Bob Davidson and his staff at Humberstone Speedway was outstanding. In return I told him that I would add some money to the purse for his BRP CanAm event. I build a lot of those cars and they put on a great show at Humberstone. $1750 to win ought to make it even greater! I may even try to find a ride. We are out of time to do another Dirttec program at Humberstone; however, if anyone is interested I may be able to squeeze in one more team. I may attempt to work one in at Black Rock Speedway this spring. Scheduling track time is very difficult. As soon as the spring weather conditions allow us to get on the track for a school the race season is ready to start. During the year everyone is too busy racing. Based on my experience with the Humberstone Dirttec program I have already started the planning cycle for 2011.”
