HUMBERSTONE SPEEDWAY KIDS CLUB NOW FORMING
Pt Colborne's Humberstone Speedway is now forming a Kids Club which will entertain and inform your youngster about motorsports as well as a safe environment to just have fun while taking in some great stock car racing.
Registration is taking place at the current Humberstone Speedway Mall show event at the Niagara Square Mall in Niagara Falls Ont. Until March 28th. Registration will also continue at Welland's Seaway Mall from April 1st through April 7th. Registration will also take place during the month of May at the Speedway. The Kids Club is looking for a corporate Sponsor.
Some of the Kids Club activities will be: Grapefruit races, painting a car tours in the pit area racing nites amongst many varieties of fun on a Summer Sunday night. This will also be a great chance to see some of the neat racers that compete at Humberstone Sundays. Both Mall shows will feature a race simulator all week as well as a meet and greet with the drivers, some will have hero cards for autographs at the Sunday shows, with the time of the autograph session to be determined. Check back later in the week.
As part of the Mall shows, Armstrong Racing with help from Tidyman Maintainance and Port Colborne Laundry will hold a Kids Bike giveaway for a Boys and Girls Bicycle. With a canned food donation your Youngster will receive a ballot for the Bike Giveaway. There is NO COST this, but the child must be present to enter. The idea is to generate fun for the Kids at the speedway in a safe environment.
Also part of the Mall show, Humberstone Speedway is looking for applicants to be the next Miss Humberstone Speedway. Miss Humberstone will be named on May 24th after an evening of races. Applications are available at the mall shows.
