New Humberstone Speedway seeking 2010 Miss Humberstone for 2010.
Its that time of year.........New Humberstone Speedway is searching for the new Miss Humberstone Speedway for the 2010 season. We are searching for female contestants over the age of 16 and be willing to follow the following tasks,
MISS HUMBERSTONE SPEEDWAY
PURPOSE:
Miss Humberstone Speedway “MHS” will act as a liaison for the management and staff of The New Humberstone Speedway “The Speedway” during racing events and all other track related events, for example our annual mall show. MHS is to help promote the speedway by way of letting the race fans and race teams know of up coming events, and anything exciting about the speedway they may not already know, and by participating in our Radio, Internet, Magazines and Newspaper advertisements through out the racing season.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
While representing The Speedway, MHS will be required to greet our fans as they enter our facility, hand out flyers, and information on up coming events to be held at the speedway. Also during each event MHS will be required to spend a significant amount of the evening with our major sponsors in the VIP suites and interacting with the fan’s and race teams in the general grandstand, lounge and pit areas.
MHS will participate in all victory lane ceremonies, this consist of being present on the front straight away after each feature race, Congratulate and stand with event winner for a photograph and assist the event sponsors and track announcers with any swag for drivers or fans.
During events not held at the speedway MHS will be required to spend some time handing out schedules and track literature to potential race fans
SCHEDULE:
Commitment of one full year (February to February)
MHS is required to be at the speedway, one and a half hours prior to each scheduled race event.
All other events not held at the speedway will be arranged on a per event basis.
REQUIRMENTS:
MHS must be 16 or older and have some general racing knowledge, MHS should be outgoing and willing to approach and meet potential and existing fans, race teams and their families. MHS should have some public speaking back ground as you will be required to speak in front of large groups of people. MHS must be photogenic and willing to have there picture distributed through out various speedway promotions.
ATTIRE:
All clothing outfits worn by MHS while representing The Speedway must be approved by Management.
The 2010 Miss Humberstone Speedway will be crowned after the May 23rd racing program. Fans of Humberstone will a have a chance to meet and greet the contestants at the Intermission as the contestants will be on the track mingling with fans and drivers during the nights autograph session. After the races, a picnic party will take place in the picnic area behind the grandstands. At this time the 2010 Miss Humberstone will be crowned.
