HUMBERSTONE SPEEDWAY'S 2010 SEASON IS GETTING CLOSE

As the warm weather gets closer so does Humberstone Speedway's 51st season in Pt. Colborne Ont. 2 Practices will take place on April 18th and 25th. Both practices will begin at 1PM with any and all classes taking part. The practices will be free to the public in the stands. Humberstone Speedway Weekly Series will consist of: Ron's Automotive Mini Stocks, Niagara Auto Sales Pro 4 Trucks, Brian's Tire Repair Street Stock, Cosco Haulage Sportsman. The Frontier Auto Dismantler Pure Stocks and the Young Automotive Professional 358 Modifieds will each be part of the program 10 times alternating every other week.
The Season Opener will take place on May 2nd as Toffolo Enterprises will present the Humberstone Speedway Weekly Series plus the 358 Modifieds. Tianna's Jewelers will present the Mothers Day Special with the HSWS with Pure Stocks and a Figure 8 race and $5.00 admission and a non perishable food item with proceeds to Port Cares. May 16th will be a Regular show plus 358 Mods and Vintage Racers sponsored by Hamblet's Roofing and Siding. May 23rd Victoria Holiday will have the John Puhl Memorial Autograph night with a full show plus Pure Stocks Fireworks and Post race Picnic Party with proceeds to the drivers Point fund. The month of May concludes sponsored by Young Automotive Professionals with the 358 Modifieds and a full program with the Stars Tour Northeast Mod Lites.
The month of June begins on the 6th as Seaway Mall presents a full program plus Pure Stocks and Round 1 of the Joe Cosco Mini Stock Series. On June 13th Tidyman Maintenance and Pt Colborne Laundry bring us the Mini Stock, Pro 4 Trucks Street Stocks and the King Of the Hill Ransomville Speedway 358 Modified Qualifier. On June 20th Brian's Tire Repair presents the HSWS with Pure Stocks and the BRP CAN-AM Late Models. Ending June on the 27th will be Niagara Square Mall Night with the Mini Stocks, Street Stocks Sportsman, 358 Modifieds and with School completed, the ever popular School Bus race.
July 4th will be the Canada Day Celebration with HSWS plus Pure Stocks, Flag Pole Race, Round 2 of the Joe Cosco Memorial Mini Stock Series and Fireworks. July 11th will be the NASCAR STARS Night with the HSWS with the 358 Modifieds and the Ransomville Speedway King Of the Hill Qualifier for Street Stocks. Sniper Alley and Full Media Services present the NSWS plus Pure Stocks and Vintage Racers. Boltworks rounds out July on the 25th with the HSWS as well as a 358 Modified Syracuse Qualifier with a Kids Poster Night and Long Jumping Contest.
August 1st begins with the Peters Excavating, Molson All Canadian Championships, Competing will be Mini Stocks, Pro 4 Trucks, Street Stocks, Sportsman, Ontario Dirt Late Models with time Trials and all day and evening fun for all. August 8th will see Xtreme Custom Exhaust presenting the HSWS with 358 Modifieds as well as a Ransomville Street Stock King Of the Hill Qualifier and a Mini Van Demo. On August 15th Ron's Automotive will present the Joe Cosco Memorial Round 3 Mini Stock Series finale plus a full program and Pure Stocks. August 22nd will be another 358 Modified Syracuse Qualifier presented by Brian's Tire Repair plus full show with Mod Lites and a Kids Bike Race. Ending August will be the 358 Modified Final points night sponsored by Metro Group Inc along with a full show and Truckers Show and Shine.
Heading into the final month of September will be sponsored by Rankin Construction who will present the Labor Day Points Championships for the HSWS classes plus Pure Stocks and Fireworks. The final night of regular racing will be September 12 sponsored by Cosco Haulage Limited and Trevor Wilkens Dirt-Car Sportsman Fall Tour will headline the program along Street Stocks as well as the Mini Stock and Pro 4 Truck Challenge. The racing concludes on September 19th as Brian's Tire Repair and Motorsports Image will have the Sportsman 100, plus the Pure Stocks, Street Stocks and Pro 4 Trucks. The 2010 curtain closer will conclude with a bang courtesy of the J.C. Auto Eve Of Destruction on September 26th.
