Rules 2009
ALL CARS MUST HAVE
A ROOF FIN WITH YOUR REGRISTRATION NUMBER ON IT. MUST BE CLEARLY
VISIBLE BY THE SCORERS OR YOU WILL NOT BE SCORED. YOU MUST SUPPLY
AND MAKE YOUR OWN ROOF FIN/ YOUR REGISTRATION NUMBER IS TO
BE THE ONLY NUMBER ON THE VEHICLE ( Failure to comply will
result in your self not being scored, meaning no chance of winning
cash or trophies)
Safety
Your Safety is our number 1 concern therefore the following
rules will be strictly enforced.
b) All drivers must have a full-faced helmet.
c) We highly recommend a fire suit and fire retardant racing
gloves
d) All doors must be welded shut or chained shut
e) We highly recommend a roll cage with driver side bar
f) Batteries must be securely fastened in a marine type container
or left in stock location
g) Gas tank should remain in its original position. If not it must
be in trunk with at least 4, 1” strapping, and a firewall
separating the cock pit,or use a steel marine tank
h) Lap and shoulder belts securely mounted and in good working
condition.
I) All non-metal interior trim and seats (other than drivers) must
be removed.
Car, Body,
Suspension, Tires, and Motors
a) American or foreign manufactured street cars only. No
Convertibles 4 wheel or all wheel dives, No Race Cars allowed (at
tech inspectors discretion)
b) All glass and flammable material must be removed. The
windshield must be removed and replaced with mesh Screen.
c) All cars must retain their stock appearance No cutting,
chopping, channeling or shortening allowed. No cutting of wheel
wells or fenders.
d) Chrome and plastic trim on all sides must be removed.
e) No mirrors allowed anywhere on the vehicle.
f) A two foot hole must be cut in the hood, to putting out
engine fires
g) Suspension parts must remain absolutely stock for that make and
model
h) Maximum wheel and tread width is 8” and must be at least a 70
series tire.
I) DOT number passenger car tires only. No truck, snow, slicks or
racing tires allowed.
j) No racing wheels of any kind allowed.
k) Engines must be stock for that make and model and in its
original mounts.
l) No external coolers.
m) Antifreeze must be drained and replaced with clean water.
n) interiors must be absolutely clean of all lose debris
Racing Rules
a) All starting positions for the enduro are determined by
registration order, with a prepaid registration given preferred
starting position.
b) Pit stops will be permitted under a green flag conditions in a
safe and orderly fashion.
c) Pitting under red will result in a five-lap penalty.
d) Excessive speeding in the pit area will be cause for
disqualification
e) A red flag will be displayed only if the track is blocked or a
roll over has occurred, or a drivers door is facing traffic. Cars
moving under a red will be disqualified.

25lap Ladies Race (no
registration Required)
1)All events will
use the eve of Destruction rules with the following additions:
2) All cars competing in the Blind Fold Race must have a securely
fastened passenger seat with a working seat belt
3) All cars competing in the large or small car demos at the end
of the day may not have fuel tanks behind the rear axle.
4) Both the car long jump and Trailer Race are open to vehicles
3/4 ton and under, but no 4 or all wheel drives.
5) Vehicles allowed for Car long Jump Contest include (cars,
trucks, vans, motor homes, fire trucks etc...)
6) Mini vans will be able to compete in most events.
7)Trailer race is open to boat/trailer combinations, and camper
trailers including pop up tent trailers. Humberstone Speedway has
extra boats with no trailers if you have a utility trailer or any
trailer that a boat can be put on let us know. They will be given
out on a first come basis. Trailers must be securely fastened to
the vehicle.
PLEASE NOTE
1)Gates
will open @ 10:30am for the pits, with 75 lap enduro starting at
1:00pm SHARP. All cars must go through and pass a tech inspection,
and be given a sticker. Cars will not be able to enter the racing
surface without this sticker.
There will be a mandatory drivers meeting at 12:30 and all cars
that are entering the enduro must be teched and have a tech
sticker prior to this. The tech area will be closed at 12:30. It
is your responsibility to make sure you arrive at the track well
in advance to pass the tech inspection before 12:30.
2)
All Vehicles must have their drivers registration number on
it(given at time of registration) There shall be no other numbers
of any kind on the vehicle
3) WINSHEILDS
MUST BE REMOVED AND REPLACED WITH SUITABLE SCREEN. ALL OUTSIDE
PLASTCI AND STEEL TRIM AND MOULDINGS MUST BE REMOVED. ALL LIGHTS
AND GLASS MUST BE COMPLETELY REMOVED FROM VEHICLE(ECEPT FOR
VEHICLES ONLY COMPETING IN THE CAR LONG JUMP CONTEST)

While Mini vans and
station wagons will be able to compete in all events except for
The demos. Please note that any pick up trucks, jeeps, broncos,
Cherokees , etc. will only be able to compete in the Car long jump
contest and Trailer Race
